Tania Batson
Director of Alumni/ae Relations
In late 2009, Claremont named Tania Batson as Director of Alumni/ae Relations. In this full-time position, she will be focused on serving Claremont graduates and former students through improved communication, programming, and resources from Claremont’s faculty.
Tania's (pron. “TAWN-ya”) personal history is intertwined with the School. As the daughter of former academic dean F. Thomas Trotter, she has childhood memories of playing on the Claremont campus before many of the current buildings were constructed.
“As a life-long United Methodist, I care deeply about the scholars and clergy that have been a part of this forward-looking and important theological institution, she says. “There are great things ahead at Claremont, and I want all of our alumni and alumnae to be a part of it!”
