ON-CAMPUS
HOUSING
Claremont School of Theology offers a remarkable variety of on-campus
apartments for singles, couples and families. The unfurnished units range
from single rooms with no kitchens to three-bedroom/two-bath units. All
housing areas have laundry facilities, picnic areas, playgrounds for children
and ample parking. The apartments also are in the Claremont
Unified School District, affording parents and their children access
to top quality public education.
In addition to saving commuting time, students who live on campus have
available to them many campus activities and services. Lectures, plays,
art exhibits, free weekly movies in Mudd theater, limited food service
and the library are just steps away. On-campus housing is also an international
experience, with neighbors coming from across the nation and around the
world, making for a dynamic and multicultural living experience.
Housing priority is offered to students who are actively enrolled at
Claremont School of Theology or Claremont Graduate University. New housing
rates are effective July 1 of each year. Rates do not include utilities
and parking. Advance reservations and deposits are required to secure housing availability. If the student chooses not to live on campus after making the deposit, $500 of the deposit is non-refundable.
Pets are allowed on a limited basis with a damage deposit and the express
approval of housing officials.

North Housing
North
housing is the newest of the apartments buildings. These units contain
studios to three-bedroom/two-bath combinations. Four of the units are
designed specifically for the physically challenged.

East Housing
East
housing is one of the original buildings on campus, designed in a classic
" mid-century California modern" style by the same architect
who designed the TransAmerica Building in San Francisco and the iconic
"Encounters" theme restaurant at LAX.

West
Housing
Part of the Butler Ecumenical Building, these units range from one-bedroom/one-bath
units to two-bedroom/one-bath units with kitchens.
