SCHOLARSHIPS AND FINANCIAL AID
Over 95 percent of students attending Claremont School of Theology receive financial assistance each year. The School assists students through institutional scholarships, federal work study, access to external loans, and other outside opportunities such as scholarships and grants. While graduate education is not inexpensive, Claremont's tuition is equal to or lower than many of its peer schools, and significantly less than other private graduate-level masters and doctoral programs.
While general scholarship is awarded to many students, The University Scholars Awards are full-ride scholarships for new master's-level students that provide for tuition, housing, books, and a monthly stipend. Domestic finalists for these awards are often invited to campus for interviews (international finalists are interviewed remotely) and to learn more about Claremont School of Theology.
Financial aid is an important part of the application process. The Admissions Office, supported by the Financial Aid Office, will make every effort to answer your questions. Please contact the Office of Admission with your initial questions.
