Office of Internships & Career Services
The Office of Internships and Career Services supports the curriculum by arranging internships and volunteer service opportunities. Through these meaningful and transformative learning experiences students prepare to be ethical leaders contributing to secular and non-secular organizations in service of the greater good. The OICS works with students and degree programs at Claremont Lincoln and supports the Field Education program at Claremont School of Theology.
The office promotes civic engagement, environmental awareness, political advocacy, social justice, intercultural competence and multi-religious approaches to service learning and community-based education. By creating and sustaining reciprocal and respectful partnerships with members of the local and global communities, the OICS promotes Claremont School of Theology and Claremont Lincoln’s vision of promoting positive change.
The OICS also provides career services to students in every stage of their vocational path. This includes guidance, skill-building, and resources to assist graduates in finding meaningful positions appropriate to their training and vocational goals. The office offers academic resources, placement counseling, and professional training along with overseeing fieldwork activities.
