Academic Update from Meagan Harris
As a staff member in the admission office, the beginning of a new school year is one of my favorite times of year. Not only are the new students I’ve been working with finally able to start the programs for which they have been preparing for months, but I get to begin recruiting for next year’s incoming class. One of the things I am most excited about for this recruitment season is that we are now able to offer accelerated, low-residency tracks for two of our current programs!
Starting in the fall semester of 2014, our M.A. in Ministry, Leadership and Service and M.Div. programs will be available in an online-hybrid format, featuring several periodic visits to campus each semester with online coursework in between. Whether you are living at a distance from Claremont and can’t relocate, or you’re a working professional with limited weekday availability, these programs will provide an option for you join the Claremont community in ways we haven’t been able to offer before. Additionally, accelerated options will be available for both programs – perfect for those of you who are looking to move into your ministry context as quickly as possible!
If you’re interested in learning more about these new program tracks, or any of our other programs, please feel free to join us at one of our monthly Information Sessions on campus, or come find a Claremont admission representative at one of our recruiting events around the country this fall. We’re happy to help you as you consider your next steps in theological education.
