Yong Jai Jun President of Korean Methodist Bishop's Council CST alumnus elected as president of Korean Methodist Church's Bishop's Council.

Congratulations to CST alumnus Rev. Dr. Yong Jai Jun (M.Div. & D.Min. 1984), who was recently elected as the President of Bishops’ Council in the Korean Methodist Church.

Bishop Jun was elected as the president of the 30th session of the General Conference on July 9, 2013. The consecration ceremony is set to be held at the Chungdong First Methodist Church in Seoul on July 25, 2013. Jun was a former bishop of the Joongang Annual Conference (JAC) from 2010 to 2012 and has served as Senior Pastor of the Holy Flames Methodist Church of the JAC since 1986. Previously he was the founding pastor of the Cerritos Korean United Methodist Church in California from 1981 to 1986, as an ordained Elder in the United Methodist Church.

Before receiving his M.Div and D.Min from Claremont School of Theology in 1984, Bishop Jun obtained his B.A and M.A. in Theology from the Methodist Theological University in Seoul
