Dean Clayton in Korea
Dean Philip Clayton recently traveled to Korea to meet with our Alumni/ae, to strengthen ties with our Methodist and Presbyterian Church friends and theological schools, and to learn about the situation of the church in Korea. He was also sharing about the important new changes to Claremont School of Theology.
"The nature of Korean culture and the history of the Protestant churches here are very different from the United States," he said. "Still, the challenges facing the churches in our two countries today are very similar. We have much to learn from Korean Christians. And Korean leaders tell me that Claremont School of Theology can play an important role in preparing pastors and teachers for their ministries in Korea."
He received substantial press coverage during his visit.
