Prof. Coleman Makes Front Page of Huffington Post Prof. Coleman's article "National Mental Health Awareness Week: Will the Churches Look After the Sick?" featured on the homepage of Huffington Post

Prof. Monica A. Coleman’s latest column made the Front Page of Huffington Post for several days recently. In Mental Health Awareness Week: Will Churches Look After the Sick? she talks about how the struggles of those suffering from mental illnesses are often compounded by the messages that their churches convey, and what can be done about it.

Her latest post for Patheos.com, The Barren Woman Bible, is equally powerful, and she also writes a blog on depression and faith at www.BeautifulMindBlog.com, and can be found on Facebook and Twitter.

With such an impressive track record in social media, it was not surprising that Union Theological Seminary’s New Media Project chose Prof. Coleman to be one of their fellows. The project explores how pastors and lay leaders can employ new technologies to strengthen their communities.
