Ain’t I a Womanist Too? Third Wave Womanist Religious Thought

Monica A. Coleman, associate professor of constructive theology and African American religions, will give her inaugural lecture on the topic of “third wave” womanist thought. Coleman joined the faculties at Claremont School of Theology and Claremont Graduate University in 2008. She is the author of Making a Way Out of No Way: A Womanist Theology.
The conference will feature a host of national established and emerging scholars from diverse backgrounds and religions speaking to the varied religious experiences of women of African descent in pursuit of justice, wellness, wholeness, freedom and quality of life.
