Claremont School of Theology announced this week the launch of a new specialized Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) program for Korean and Korean American pastors. The program will focus on “Practical Theology of Healing, Reconciliation and Transformation in Korean Contexts.”
The first cohort is expected to begin in May 2010. The application deadline is March 1.
The new D.Min. program draws on Claremont’s faculty expertise in cross-cultural engagement while inviting leading Korean scholars and practitioners in the field. Classes will meet two times a year – once in Claremont and once in Korea – with simultaneous translation services provided in Korean or English.
