Student Spotlight

In 2012 Chris Carter graduated from CST with his Masters of Divinity degree. He immediately began a Ph.D. in Christian Ethics and hopes someday to teach at the University level. He has been the recipient of the Winters Endowed Scholarship Fund at CST and has had the opportunity to get to know the fund's primary donor, Barbara Winter. Chris says, "Meeting Barbara was awesome. She's one of the most inspirational people I've met. She understands the importance of educated clergy." Chris added, "Scholarship allowed me to focus on school while also serving as a part-time associate pastor. Without this funding I could not have afforded to be a part-time pastor, I would've had to seek a higher paying job. That would have been sad because I would've missed out on a valuable learning opportunity."
