Scholarship funds are awarded to students based on merit. Some scholarships are available regardless of need. Students applying for admission to the M.A. and Ph.D. programs will automatically be considered for scholarships. Scholarship eligibility requires enrollment in a minimum of 9 units (8 units for Ph.D.) To retain all scholarships, students must have and maintain a Satisfactory Academic Progress (2.5 for M.A., 3.3 for Ph.D.)
IMPORTANT NOTE: Some scholarships have additional grade point average requirements that may be higher than those listed above. Review the catalog for these additional requirements or contact the Financial Aid Office.
Outside Scholarships are also available to students.
