Calendar of Events
Commencement Rehearsal
Rehearsal will be held at 10:30am on Friday, May 15th on the Chapel lawn. All graduates who intend to participate in commencement are expected to attend rehearsal.
Rehearsal Lunch
All graduates are invited to join the faculty, the President and Mrs. Campbell at 11:30am on Friday, May 15th for a luncheon immediately following the commencement rehearsal. The luncheon will be held in the Haddon Conference Center.
Baccalaureate Service & Community Barbeque
All graduates and their guests are invited to a Baccalaureate service to be held in Mudd Theater at 4:30pm on Friday, May 15th.
Immediately following the Baccalaureate service, there will be a CST community barbeque in the Biblical Meditation Garden (east side of Kresge Chapel) honoring the 2009 graduates.
Commencement Ceremony
Commencement 2009 will take place at 8:30am on Saturday, May 16th, on the Kresge Chapel lawn. There is no limit to the number of guests a student may invite to the commencement ceremony. The ceremony is held outdoors, so dress appropriately.
Ceremony Schedule for Graduates
7:30am - Robing of graduates, Mudd Theater lobby
8:00am - Class picture, Mudd Theater south stairs
8:15am - Procession line-up, south side of Library
8:30am - Procession begins
Post-ceremony - All rental regalia must be turned in at the entrance to the Colwell building. Graduates who do not return their regalia will be charged the replacement cost of the regalia.
Cap and Gown Information for Students
Academic Regalia
All commencement ceremony participants are required to obtain their academic regalia through the Claremont School of Theology.
Students renting their regalia must submit their order form to the Office of the Registrar no later than February 28, 2009.
Students purchasing their regalia through the Cokesbury Bookstore (909-447-2519) must place their order no later than March 30, 2009.
Student Survey
In order to better serve our students, we require our graduates to complete an Alumni Survey and an Association of Theological Schools (ATS) Graduating Student Survey before commencement. Completion of these surveys will give us vital information on the CST student experience. The Alumni Survey and the confirmation page of the ATS survey must be submitted to the Office of the Registrar along with your Business Office Clearance card.

Commencement Announcements
Announcements may be ordered from Herff-Jones through their website

Diplomas
Original diplomas will be handed out during the commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 16, 2009.
If you do not participate in the commencement ceremony, your diploma will be sent (approximately one week following commencement) by certified mail to the address indicated on your Application for Graduation. Should your plans to participate in commencement change, please notify the Office of the Registrar at 909-447-2502/2503.
Final Transcripts
Degrees will be posted on transcripts the week following graduation. Graduates can submit Transcript Request forms prior to graduation and have them processed after the degree has been posted.
Seating/Parking/Special Needs
Parking
Parking will be available on campus. Signs will be posted directing visitors to the campus parking lots. Handicapped parking spaces are located on the east side of the Colwell building.
Commencement Seating
Guest seating begins at 8:00 a.m. on the day of commencement. Seating will be available on a first come first served basis. We do not reserve seats, however there is generally seating for everyone.
Special Needs
A drop-off and pick-up point designated for wheelchair accessible and mobility impaired will be located …
There will be plenty of accessible seating at the commencement ceremony. The commencement ceremony seats are white folding chairs which can be easily moved if necessary to make room for a wheelchair, walker or stroller.
Restrooms will be open in the buildings surrounding the ceremony location.
