Stanley Jones has taught New Testament and Ancient Christianity at Göttingen, Paris, and Long Beach, where he is currently the Director of the Institute for the Study of Judaeo-Christian Origins. His main academic focus is Jewish Christianity, particularly the Pseudo-Clementines. He is editing and translating the Syriac versions of this ancient novel.
