TH396 Advanced Process Seminar: The Problem of Evil

A consideration of the different ways in which
process philosophers and theologians have dealt with the problem of evil. Some
previous study of process thinking is required as a basis for taking this
course.

IS303 Spiritual Practices for the Active Life
In the midst of busy lives, how can we find peace and focus? How can we open ourselves to experiencing
God’s presence in our day-to-day world? Today there is a new interest in “practicing
our faith” as a response to these kinds of questions. This course will explore traditional and
contemporary spiritual practices. We
will reflect on our own personal patterns and experience new possibilities for
spiritual practice. Distinctively
Methodist spirituality will be emphasized, including both individual and
community-oriented practices.

Students who have been admitted to Claremont School of Theology for the
Fall 2005 semester may register for the Summer 2005
without completing a Non-degree application.

Claremont School of Theology retains a security interest in all
transcripts, diplomas, certificates, letters of recommendation, or grade
reports, which shall not be released until all outstanding balances are paid in
full. In the event the School deems it
necessary to employ a collection agent or attorney to enforce payment, the
registrant agrees to pay all reasonable collection costs and attorney’s
fees. No future registrations will be
allowed until all charges are paid in full.
